Michael is a McNair scholar and Junior at the University of Colorado Denver who is pursuing a bachelor's of science in Computer Science with a minor in Psychology. In the lab Michael works on understanding the relationship between visual perception and attention. His research focuses on the effects of  distractions on attention and performance. After graduating, Michael will pursue a PhD in engineering or Psychology.
