Psychology Department
Janiya is a B.S. undergraduate majoring in Psychology. She initially entered college as a pre-nursing student, but after taking several neuroscience courses, she developed a strong interest in the field and decided to pursue research related to neuropsychology. After completing previous research labs, she joined this lab in Spring 2026 to gain additional research experience, particularly because of the lab’s focus on attention. Janiya plans to continue her education by earning a PhD in Clinical Psychology with a neuropsychology track, with the goal of becoming a neuropsychologist.
