Hi! My name is Dominique and I am a graduating senior double-majoring in Psychology and Ethnic Studies. My research interests include biopsychosocial transmissions of trauma across generations for marginalized communities, particularly African Americans. The Lab of Integrative Vision offers a unique complement to my research interests through its emphasis on eye-tracking. Interestingly, eye-tracking research within the realm of PTSD is a growing field, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to not only broaden and deepen my interests, but walk away with a more nuanced and informed way of approaching trauma psychology as well. Overall, I’m eager to obtain a better understanding of lab environments, get a better feel for data collection, contribute to running participants, and work closely with my peers!
