Alex is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver. He joined Dr. Leonard's lab in the Summer of 2018 and is designing a study on the influence of dopamine on working memory. Inasmuch, Alex plans to measure dopamine via eye blink rate. After earning his undergraduate degree, Alex wants to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and enter the field of Forensic Psychology. He believes that establishing a biological foundation in psychology is important in diagnosing mental disorders and finding effective treatments.
