Tom Noel, Professor of History and Associate Chair of the History Department, received the 2018 Colorado Authors' League Lifetime Achievement Award at the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities on Friday, May 4, 2018. Noel, known as Dr. Colorado, was honored for the 53 books he has authored or co-authored (some with CU-Denver students). Join us in congratulating Professor Noel on this momentous achievement. Professor Noel would like to thank the History Department and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for a recently received grant. He will use this opportunity to hire one of our fantastic graduate students to help in editing the revised edition of his book Buildings of Colorado (N.Y.: Oxford, 1997).
