Welcome future community collaborators and partners! We’re excited that you’re interested in our collaborative community of universities and colleges, including TCUs, communities, partners, and students. The Native FEWS Certificate is open to individuals from all backgrounds and areas of expertise. Students may already be enrolled in another institution or may be joining independently. Everyone is welcome to participate and contribute to shaping the future of science, sustainability, and community innovation.

Through the Native FEWS Certificate program, participants earn credentials virtually and within their home communities. Designed for continuing and professional education, the program introduces new approaches in learning, understanding, and contributing in reciprocity. Learners engage in a range of opportunities including self-paced online modules, local in-person workshops, seminars, project-based learning, and community courses.

The initiative is built on an alliance of institutions, partners, and organizations committed to creating a shared platform for exploring both traditional knowledge and innovative approaches to food, energy, and water systems. The program equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to apply what they learn in real-world practice.
