My name is Faith Montemayor, and I'm an undergraduate student at CU Denver. I'm currently majoring in biochemistry and minoring in cognitive behavioral neuroscience. I'm a part of the 2023 MARC U-STAR cohort and have a passion for computational chemistry research and neuroscience. I am currently co-supervised by Dr. Emilie Guidez and Dr. Hai Lin, working on the interpolated adaptive-partitioning (IAP) multilayer algorithms, along with the NarK antiporter, to decipher its mechanisms of operation using the IAP code. I’m the current president of CU Denver’s Alpha Phi chapter, as well as a SACNAS member. My hobbies include hiking, pilates, weightlifting, baking, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
