Certificate Overview
The certificate program offers an opportunity for students who are seeking an academic credential to demonstrate they are prepared to meet the challenges of doing business in the Chinese-speaking world. The program focuses specifically on those courses that are geared toward a skill set in the international business market. Students will learn to speak, comprehend, read, and write in Chinese Pinyin, with a focus on specialized vocabulary and business communication, and will acquire intercultural competence.
The certificate is available to all students across the University, as well as non-degree-seeking business professionals with a prior degree who are seeking to increase their skillset and value in the international marketplace. The required and elective courses can be taken from the CLAS, the Business School, and the College of Arts and Media.
