Born in Cincinnati. Degrees from Caltech. Came to the Denver Center physics department in 1967 before we became the University of Colorado at Denver in 1973. Great sabbaticals in France and Italy. Retired in 2004. Un-retired in 2015. Physics interests include nuclear physics, nuclear reactions in stars, stellar evolution, fundamental structure of matter, etc.
