What is PAT?

  • Phi Alpha Theta is an international history honor society providing academic recognition, lifetime membership, and networking and leadership opportunities.

How to join

  • Applicants can apply for membership after taking 12 credit hours in History. 
  • There is a $50 application fee, but the History Department has funds to cover at least 5 application fees per year.

PAT Leadership Roles

President: Serves as the PAT representative to other campus organizations and offices. The president also works in tandem with the Faculty Advisor to provide club reports to university administrative offices.

Vice President: Serves as the President in the absence of the active President. 

Treasurer: Manages club finances and financial record keeping.

Undergraduate Secretary: Responsible for taking notes/minutes at chapter meetings.
