Online Minor in History

Our students enjoy the vast possibilities that the study of history has to offer. History touches every subject and can be explored from countless perspectives. The addition of an online history minor expands on our students' ability to learn about all apsects of history from anywhere and at anytime. This online program makes studying history accessible for non-traditional and traditional students. The Online Minor in History is the same program as our Minor in History, but it can be completed from anywhere. 

Online Minor in History Requirements: 18 Credit Hours Total 

Take six credit hours of elective history courses and three credit hours in each of the following areas:

  • United States History 
  • European History
  • World History (Asia, Africa and Latin America)

Note(s):
At least 12 credit hours must be completed at CU Denver.
As of Fall 2006, no grade lower than a C- will count for the History Minor.
​Nine hours must be upper division (3000- and 4000-level).
