The Healthy Couples Lab two graduate students and recipients of the Gardner Fellowship, Gillian Lloyd and Sydneyjane Varner, were thrilled to attend the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Annual Scholarship Luncheon this past week. They had the immense pleasure of meeting Dr. Rick Gardner, former chair of UCD’s Psychology Department and the generous benefactor behind the Gardner Fellowship. Gillian and Sydneyjane were able to share with Dr. Gardner the impact of his scholarship has had on their research training and to thank him for his generosity.
