The Positives:

The Canvas Teacher app for mobile is useful for responding quickly to student messages. The grading functionality is good and does adequately replace the previous Canvas SpeedGrader mo0bile app. New this year, you can view and make text only edits or corrections to course module content. This makes a big difference as previously the module view wasn’t available to teachers at all and the pages link showed pages in alphabetical order not in the order they appeared in the course. Hopefully in the future they will include the ability to upload files. This would be especially helpful for video shot on mobile devices.

The Negatives:

While the Canvas Teacher app is more functional than it has been it still has a way to go. Hopefully in the future they will include the ability for instructors to upload files. This would be especially helpful for video shot on mobile devices

Last year I was greatly concerned the students had the same raw view of content in their mobile app but I was assured by Canvas help they do have the correct student view and full functionality.
