Complete an internship while you are an undergraduate. Even if the internship isn’t directly in your field of future employment, it will be recognized as concrete, real world experience, which is something employers are looking for. Extensive volunteer experience and work experience count as well.

Any major who has completed at least 15 credit hours and has a cumulative GPA of 2.75 may apply for an internship. Each credit of internship you sign up for requires about 40 hours of contact with the selected internship site.
