Lorraine Garrison

As an experienced middle and high school math teacher, Lorraine Garrison currently works in Mapleton Public Schools in Thornton, Colorado. Lorraine is passionate about Math Circles and began participating in 2010. Currently, she serves as the Associate Director for the Rocky Mountain Math Circle, a Teacher Liaison for the National Association of Math Circles, and directs the Mapleton Student Circle.

Jim Loats

Jim enjoys helping students learn math and helping teachers understand how to facilitate mathematical learning in their classrooms. He is now Emeritus Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he taught mathematics courses for future teachers for 32 years. Susan Meyer

Susan Meyer is a passionate elementary educator. This is her 23rd year teaching and tenth year in Douglas County. In order to develop her skills as a math educator, she attends the Rocky Mountain Math Teacher Circle. Through the monthly meetings, she experiences collaborative problem solving, the sharing of ideas, and new math problems to implement into her teaching.
