CU Denver SIAM Students Plan and Host FRAMSC

Attendees of the 12th annual Front Range Applied Mathematics Student ConferenceOn March 5th, the CU Denver SIAM Student Chapter hosted the 12th annual Front Range Applied Mathematics Student Conference (FRAMSC). This year's event was held in the Student Commons Building, accommodating over 30 talks given by undergraduate and graduate students, which were attended by almost 90 students.

Sponsored by the SIAM student chapters in the region and included students from University of Colorado Boulder, University of Colorado Denver, University of Colorado Springs, Colorado State University, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado College, and University of Wyoming, this event allows students from different universities in the area to present research which is being pursued and to promote general interest in applied mathematics. The conference is organized mostly by the students within the SIAM Student Chapters.
