Leslie Hull has spent the majority of her career (15 years) at the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of International Affairs working on macroeconomic issues in Europe and Asia, currency policy and coordinating Treasury participation in the G-7 and G-20.  She was detailed to the U.S. Executive Director's office at the IMF where she formulated the U.S. position on a range of IMF country and policy issues.  She spent three years at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand analyzing financial stability issues related to the household and external sectors.  She began her career as an Assistant Professor at Victoria University of Wellington where she taught Principles of Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Master's level International Finance.
