I have taught at UCD since 1990, in English as well as in the minors in Social Justice and Women's and Gender Studies. In 2008 I attended a summer institute at the Cornerstone Theater Company in Los Angeles, learning about community-based theater. I now incorporate theater games into my larger classes, so be forewarned! I have published critical articles on British and American drama, feminist theory, and Virginia Woolf; poetry in dozens of journals; and now focus on playwriting. My most recent play is “Sheltered,” based on stories by women experiencing homelessness in Denver.
