Dr. Dill is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver. As a licensed psychologist, he supervises students in the Clinical Health Psychology Ph.D. program, particularly within the areas of psychological assessment and pediatric psychology. He also holds academic appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he is involved in training clinical psychology interns and in providing clinical care to patients with epilepsy at Children's Hospital Colorado.
His research has spanned several domains, including psychosocial correlates of health, health-related quality of life, and bullying and victimization among children and adolescents. Dr. Dill has also evaluated the psychosocial correlates of success for a community-based intervention aimed to prevent the onset of diabetes among American Indians and Alaska Natives. His current work focuses on three areas of interest: (1) assessing the longitudinal trends of health-related quality of life in adults with cystic fibrosis, (2) evaluating the effectiveness of an integrative/multidisciplinary clinic approach for children and adolescents with psychogenic nonepileptic seizures, and (3) developing evidence-based approaches for transition to adult care for adolescents with cystic fibrosis.
