Bauer presenting and publishing

Philosophy Research Assistant Professor Mark Bauer’s new article “Ahistorical Teleosemantics: An Alternative to Nanay,” was recently published in The Southern Journal of Philosophy (2017, 55, 158-76). In addition, Bauer is presenting the paper "Nonfunctional Semantics in Plants," at the Southwestern Philosophical Society Conference in Waco, Texas, on Nov 3-5. At the end of the semester, Bauer will offer a 5-week workshop called “Advanced Analytical Thinking” for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows (spaces are still available) on the Anschutz Medical Campus, sponsored by the NIH’s Common Fund’s initiative to Broaden Experiences in Scientific Training (BEST) Program.
