Mary is the Curriculum Manager for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, providing direct professional support for curriculum development, management, and compliance functions. In consultation and collaboration with the CLAS senior leadership team (i.e., the dean and associate deans), the curriculum manager applies subject matter expertise to support curricular initiatives and responsibilities related to: 1) CLAS course and curriculum development; 2) educational policy development and compliance; 3) catalog editing and compliance; 4) accreditation and program assessment efforts; 5) academic administrative process troubleshooting, development, and implementation, and 6) relevant support for graduate programs.  As subject matter expert for academic administrative tools and processes, this position also supports the training and development of other CLAS academic services professionals, CLAS program directors, and CLAS department leadership.  The curriculum manager is responsible for understanding the planning, analysis, and information management needs of academic and administrative decision makers within CLAS and leads efforts to implement identified solutions in the most effective and efficient means possible and is the point of contact for registration problem-solving and provides student services support. Mary serves as a liaison to the Registrar's Office and to the Educational Policies and Curriculum Committee and is the point person in the college for all Catalog, Degree Requirement, Assessment and CU-SIS related issues.
