Phebe Lassiter has always enjoyed working with students.  Phebe worked as a work-study at MSU working with students who were receiving scholarships.  While working as a work-study, Phebe knew that she wanted to continue to work with students as a career, however she decided she wanted to be a police officer.  When that did not work out, Phebe began her career in higher education at University of Colorado Denver working in the Bursar’s Office.  Afterwards, she worked at Community College of Aurora for 10 ½ years.  First, working as a Financial Aid Advisor, then as a STEM Advisor. Phebe returned to University of Colorado Denver and continued advising, but in CLAS.  Phebe was very excited to return to University of Colorado Denver and to continue to advise.

Phebe graduated from Metropolitan College of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology.  Phebe received her Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Strategic and Innovation Planning from CSU Global.  With her Master of Science degree, Phebe hopes to continue to work in higher education and continue to work on strategies that are best for students.

Outside of the office, Phebe enjoys spending time with her teenagers, her family, reading, writing poetry, Netflix, and hiking as she loves nature and animals.
