York work published posthumously and celebrated

Southern Illinois University Press will be publishing Jake Adam York’s fourth collection of poems, Abide, in early 2014. This collection was complete at the time of York’s passing, and SIUP has been working with faculty in the CU Denver English Department to prepare it for publication. The book is available for pre-order here.

In addition, several of York’s poems have been appearing in print journals and anthologies. Five previously unpublished poems from Abide ran in Memorious over the summer, and the online journal of poetics, Pilot Light, dedicated their most recent issue to Jake’s work.
