Sociology proud to announce success of students

MA Sociology students Joshua Goode and Jeff Stilley have both been accepted into sociology doctoral programs for Fall 2015. Goode will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder and Stilley will be entering the doctoral program at University of Missouri. In addition, several MA students in Sociology have completed their MA projects or theses: Chelsee Thomas defended her master's project entitled, "A Grant Proposal for a Prison-Based Writing Program Aiming to Reduce Recidivism" (Stacey Bosick, assistant professor, served as her project advisor), and Leo Olivarez (advised by associate professor Candan Duran-Aydintug) defended his thesis, "The Tea Party and the Racialization of Politics."
