Otanez attends tobacco control convention
Marty Otañez, assistant professor and in anthropology, attended the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) meeting in Seoul, South Korea this month. Representatives from 176 countries met to discuss the world’s first public health treaty designed to reduce death and disease from tobacco.
