Langou receives new NSF funding

Langou receives new NSF funding

Julien Langou, associate professor of mathematical and statistical science, recently received a new NSF award for "SI2-SSI: Collaborative Research: Sustained Innovation for Linear Algebra Software (SILAS)." The award is for $300,000, and the project will run from October 2013 to September 2016 (estimated). This is a collaborative grant with University of California Berkeley (PI Jim Demmel) and University of Tennessee (PI Jack Dongarra). In Colorado Langou will serves as PI and Rodney James (now at Colorado College) is co PI.
