Damrauer scholarship and generosity highlighted

One of the universities’ founding faculty, chemistry professor, special assistant to the provost and newly appointed associate vice chancellor for research, Robert “Bob” Damrauer and his wife Lennie are longtime, generous supporters of CLAS and CU Denver. Now they have established the “Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture Series,” a series of talks by noted leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics,  to begin in 2014. The talks will be made possible by a generous donation from the Damrauers, in honor of their parents, Martha and Karl Kohn and Rose and Clarence “Butch” Damrauer. In addition, The Robert Damrauer Scholarship, is a $2,500 award that honors outstanding chemistry students. More information about the scholarship and it’s current recipients can be found here.
