Communication celebrating Earth Day in Beijing

COMM 4282 (Environmental Communication and Advocacy), is being taught for the first time at ICB this Spring, and in coordination with the course and under the supervision of instructor Supriya Karudapuram, students will be observing Earth Day on the China  Agricultural University campus on Tuesday, April 22nd. A first of its kind, for this inaugural commemoration many ecofriendly activities are planned, including readings from Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching (earth and nature poetry and verses), music with traditional Chinese and Western instruments, poetry, speeches, bicycle campaigns, recycling campaigns, as well as the opportunity for students to go to a local kindergarten to promote nature with animal drawings, storytelling and so forth.
