Parking Update for Fall – 5th Street Garage Now Open

The Auraria 5th Street Garage is now open, adding an additional 925 parking spots to campus. It features covered motorcycle parking and electric car charging stations. The garage, at the corner of Walnut and 5th Streets, will be fully automated at $4.50 per day. Customers do not need to return to their cars to display a ticket on the dashboard. Instead, customers pay in advance at payment stations using their vehicle's license plate number. The 5th Street Garage is also part of the Gold Passport Program, and is the first covered parking option to be included in the Silver Passport Program. The Parking Passports are discounted, pre-paid parking options that allow daily access to most of the parking lots and garages on campus, depending on the Passport level.
