This month, CU Denver signed an MOU (memorandum of understanding) with the Ecologic Institute (EI) establishing a new study abroad program in Berlin. Christoph H. Stefes, associate professor of political science, will head the program which will launch next fall, 2014. The Department of Political Science is the lead university partner in the creation of this semester-long study abroad program, open to undergraduate and graduate students, which will include two courses, an independent study project and the possibility of an internship with EI or another environmental group in Berlin. The focus of this academic program will be on issues of sustainability, climate change adaptation and mitigation, environmental protection, and the politics and economics of renewable energy and energy efficiency development.  For further information please click here.
