LRPC Scholarship Application Deadline Extended to Tomorrow
Please alert interested students that The Latino Research and Policy Center (LRPC) of the Colorado School of Public Health has been awarded a grant from the Ford Foundation to explore the use of social media to influence policy maker decision making related to sexual and reproductive rights among Latino communities in the Denver area. As part of the award, the Ford Foundation has granted student scholarships for undergraduate, graduate and selected high school students. LRPC will fund up to eight Sexual and Reproductive Rights Scholars each semester through December 2014. Scholarships will range from $1500 to $3000 per semester. Scholars will be expected to participate in multiple training and research activities associated with digital storytelling and other social media strategies, survey research, and will also be expected to enroll in courses and/or workshops to facilitate their training in sexual and reproductive health. 2013 Summer Scholarships will be awarded for the period of May 15 through August 30.
