CLAS Speakers' Bureau Project

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Speakers’ Bureau Project  (CLAS SBP)  is a community outreach initiative that will match CU Denver CLAS scholars to community needs. Having our first-class faculty available on a volunteer basis to provide lectures or workshops in their areas of expertise to local schools, businesses, and organizations will enhance the visibility of CLAS while demonstrating good will and our enthusiasm for interacting with our wider community. The CLAS SPB will provide excellent service opportunities for both junior and senior faculty, and for tenured/tenure-track and non tenure-track faculty. In order to get this project off the ground, we need to create a database with information on individual faculty and interdisciplinary teams who are interested in participating. Please think about the following:

  • Topics on which you are available to speak
  • Potential interdisciplinary faculty partners who could speak with you on your topics
  • Your interest level in speaking to Schools (Elementary, Middle, High), Buinesses, Organizations  (what kinds?)

You can submit your profile (if you have not already done so) to Marjorie Levine-Clark, Associate Dean for Planning and Initiatives & Associate Professor, History at or for questions  call 303.556.2896.
