Memorial Service for Jake Adam York

The campus and Denver community are invited to mourn the passing of beloved professor, poet, editor and critic, Jake Adam York. Jake held graduate degrees from Cornell University (MA, MFA, and PhD) and a BA from Auburn University. He was an associate professor in the Department of English, arriving at the University of Colorado Denver in 2000.  He founded the university’s Creative Writing Program, as well as the university’s national literary journal Copper Nickel.Further information about York’s life and work can be found here.
