Brad “Buzz” Busley passed away unexpectedly and suddenly at his home on May 18th, 2013, his 54th birthday. He will be greatly missed by his friends, students and colleagues in the Physics Department. He was born and raised in the Denver area and grew up in Golden where he attended Lakewood High School and the University of Colorado Denver.  He worked for the university since the late 90s where among his many duties were the designing and manufacture of scientific instruments for the university, as well as IT network management and uncountable other duties. His co-workers could always rely on his conscientious and meaningful contribution to the department. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Epilepsy Foundation.
